The Controller Test Cartridge is one of around four discovered cartridges once used by Nintendo World Class Service to test and diagnose problems with the SNES and controllers including the Super Scope and Mouse. This cart contains the earliest software version of the Controller Test program later present in the SNES Burn-In Test Cart and SNES Test Program.
Only standard controllers can be tested in this version. Connecting other peripherals into port one will display "PLEASE SET CONTROLLER".

Unused Sound
Like all other SNES Test Carts, several unused sounds exist and all can be played by using Pro Action Replay code 00840F?? (where "??" is one of the below) and waiting 10 seconds for the Controller Test to fail.
