There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough pictures. Please fix this.

The SGB Test Program is a Super Game Boy software development kit demo that was intended to test enhanced Super Game Boy features, and there is also code for Super Game Boy sound function support. A build dated April 1994 was found among the July 2020 Nintendo leaks.

The program features the Super Game Boy's "Goon" mascot. Four of them appear in a yard-like setting as spinning heads, and the player is able to control one, or up to four with four SNES controllers. The player is able to fire a star-like character at three others by pressing A/B, which can defeat them. After being hit, the Goon will start spinning slower before disappearing. If the star is close enough to the target, it will move in a path.

Using Isxc-0.5, the Test Program (Game Boy ROM with SGB enhancements) can be compiled from sgb.isx from the leak at CGB\CGB\AZL__ゼルダの伝説 夢を見る島DX\Source\Disk1\ゼルダの伝説_JP3_US3_EU2\DEMO_zelda\sgb\SAMPLE\.

Unused Graphics

Graphics of Kirby are present in the ROM, but they only seem to appear after firing for a very brief moment. Unused code, possibly left over from an earlier version of the SGB Test Program, turns Goon sprites into Kirby ones. It can be re-enabled with Game Genie code ??3-D2F-195 (where "??" is any non-FF value).

Yoshi Palette

There is code for a green "YOSSI" palette.
