Hmmm...
To do:
There's a decent amount of unused content. Check if any of it is on the iOS release and/or make a page for other versions of the game?

Deus Ex: The Fall is effectively Square trying to produce an Opposing Force-style expansion of Human Revolution (The Fall itself being a sequel to a novel), but making the mistake of having it be the first in a series of games...that never ended up being made.

Plus a poor PC port and microtransactions for a single-player experience.

Revisional Differences

The original release had a nasty surprise for numerous customers, not allowing you to fire your guns if you were playing on a jailbroken iOS device, even if you had obtained the game itself legitimately. The fact there was no warning about this on the store page only intensified the negative response, which resulted in the anti-"piracy" measure being quickly removed in a patch that also brought several other changes:

  • XP and credit rewards for completing objectives were increased.
  • Several powerful weapons had their prices reduced.
  • Weaker weapons were given damage and accuracy stat boosts.
