Just Dance 2016 is the seventh game in the dance game series by Ubisoft. The game introduces Just Dance Unlimited, a streaming subscription service.

There's a feature involving Amiibos was intended to be in the Wii U port, but that feature was scrapped for unknown reasons. In this feature, you would place an Amiibo on the Wii U Gamepad, with the only avatars in the Unlimited servers are Mario, Link, and a Question Mark Block. Besides, the graphics, sounds, and the music for it can be found in the game's files.
