Regarding to the unused ESRB logo in SA2 (PC)

Hello there, I have noticed that you removed the ESRB logo, claiming that is used. Would you be kind enough to show me at one point where the ESRB Logo is being shown? Because on my version of PC, it does not appear at all. Thanks. ForgottenHaunter310.5 (talk) 08:25, 4 May 2018 (EST)

It's shown at the beginning in the Xbox/PS3 port. Video Ferrox (talk) 11:26, 4 May 2018 (EDT)

Land Before Time

Thank you for making a page about The Land Before Time Game Boy Advance I was hoping for someone to find unused stuff in this!--ThePokeDigiFan (talk) 01:15, 29 December 2014 (EST)

Mickey's Speedway

Hey, nice job on the new Mickey's Speedway stuff! What program did you use to view the N64 models? Also what did you use for the GBC graphics? -Ehm (talk) 21:33, 14 January 2016 (EST)

For the N64 one I used GoldenEye Setup Editor 3.0 and for the GBC one I used Tile Molester. Ferrox (talk) 21:48, 14 January 2016 (EST)
Cool, thanks! -Ehm (talk) 21:52, 14 January 2016 (EST)

Data Offsets

I'd highly appreciate it if you added where the data was found in the ROM. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 21:45, 9 February 2016 (EST)

Super Monkey Ball Adventure Levels

Was the "Ever Decreasing" level exclusive to the PSP release? I have the game on both PS2 and GameCube and have never run into a stage with that design. --M&L27 (talk) 21:31, 3 September 2016 (EDT)

Yes, it's one of the PSP exclusive levels. Ferrox (talk) 13:23, 10 September 2016 (EDT)

Daytona USA

Hey, do you plan on checking the PS3 version of Daytona USA for those unused strings? -Ehm (talk) 20:52, 17 May 2017 (EDT)

As of right now I can't. I have it on my PS3 but since it's not jailbroken I can't rip it to my pc. - Ferrox (talk) 21:17, 17 May 2017 (EDT)
Ok, cool. Gonna change that article to be 360 specific then. -Ehm (talk) 21:38, 17 May 2017 (EDT)

Diddy Kong Racing

There were some textures found for some very early prototype of DKR hiding inside of Dinosaur Planet's E3 2002 demo disc. These included rather human-like textures. I wonder if these are also in DKR's ROM.--From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 15:19, 22 August 2017 (EDT)

Can you post link to those textures? Ferrox (talk) 16:28, 27 August 2017 (EDT)

Perfect Dark Beta

Can you make a 'native res' pic for the 'Cutscene Viewer' section of the article? Your pictures are very nicely done. Would be greatly appreciated. I hope you don't mind me moving around your photos away from the text. I'm also very curious how you syscalled that Crash menu! --Acceptable67 (talk) 14:23, 11 November 2017 (EST)

Sorry, I don't mean to bug again, but how did you achieve that Perfect Crash menu without having any instruction on how to access it to begin with? I've never been able to get a Syscall as result like you did. Thanks! --Acceptable67 (talk) 15:45, 18 November 2017 (EST)

I just got to appear by manually corrupting parts of the memory while the game was running in PJ64. Ferrox (talk) 12:08, 19 November 2017 (EST)

Banjo kazooie Nuts and bolts

How did you extracted that Placeholder icon from banjox? That *.rtx files are in extremely weird format. Thanks for any help (contact me at my talk page)--Commonassetfileformat (talk) 15:05, 16 November 2017 (EST)

Regarding the Gunstar Heroes Game Gear Error Handler

Hey Ferrox, I'm the guy from the talk page of the Gunstar Heroes Game Gear article. Could you please tell me how to replicate the actions you did that led to the error handler, for further clarification as to why it would be ever called? Thank you. Tanner (talk) 21:00, 21 April 2018 (EDT)

I got it to appear by using MAME's debugger to corrupt the memory with random bytes while the game was running. Ferrox (talk) 11:53, 23 April 2018 (EDT)
Thank you. Tanner (talk) 21:33, 23 April 2018 (EDT)

Mario Party 3 regional differences.

So, could you perchance upload images for "DK Start"/"Donkey Start" and "Miss"/"Game Over"—as well as possibly sounds for the latter—to the regional differences section of the Mario Party 3 page? --ShootingStar7X (talk) 21:13, 27 April 2019 (EDT)

Super Monkey Ball Deluxe stage list

Howdy, I was wondering if the stage list you posted for Super Monkey Ball Deluxe was from the Xbox edition or the PS2 edition. I've been checking the PS2 version and found several differences between my list and yours. -TheBombSquad (talk) 10:39, 9 August 2019 (EDT)

The stage list is from the Xbox version. Ferrox (talk) 11:45, 9 August 2019 (EDT)

Gamecube Gba Bios in Executables

In https://tcrf.net/The_Cutting_Room_Floor:Common_Things#GameCube, you added the following edit, saying this:

Games that use the Game Boy Advance to GameCube link cable will contain a copy of the Game Boy Advance BIOS in the executable which contains the hidden credit

// Coded by Kawasedo

I was using grep to search for this string and the gba bios, and couldn't find it in one such game, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful life. How do you know every gamecube game with gba link compatibility has the gba bios and this credit, and if so, how would I extract the gba bios and find this string in every gba link compatible gamecube game?

I haven't looked into A Wonderful Life myself but it's possible that the GBA bios is compressed. Ferrox (talk) 18:48, 28 August 2020 (UTC)
Out of curiosity, which games did you check? Were you successfully able to extract the gba bios from any of them? HeroponRikiBestest (talk) 4:40, 6 September 2020 (UTC)
I only checked Warioware, both of the Sonic Adventure games and the Game Boy Player disc. I haven't tried extracting the bios but I'll try it later. Ferrox (talk) 16:16, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
Alright, let me know how it goes. I was only able to extract the gba bios from some of the demo discs and pokemon box, and that's because they actually emulate a full gba game on your gamecube. HeroponRikiBestest (talk) 9:10, 12 September 2020 (UTC)
Did you ever get around to testing it? HeroponRikiBestest (talk) 18:24, 19 October 2020 (UTC)

Dog's Life ovl format and debug stuff

Hey ferrox, I saw you found some stuff regarding debug options for Dog's Life. Do you think there would be a way to enable any of those, as that would be pretty cool. Also, would you be interested in trying to figure out the OVL archive format used in the game, so that maybe we could find more unused and interesting content in the game? Thanks in advance

I'm not sure if any debug options are still in the game, the text could be all that's left. As for the ovl format, I might look into it sometime later. Ferrox (talk) 15:45, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
Update, I've actually found out how to somewhat rip from ovl, the models. We still need to figure out the data table to rip everything. If you want to talk more about this, message me on Discord. my discord is Dogmander#8122

Treasure Planet Crash Handler

I wonder, how did you get to it? And why is the second image at a smaller screen size than the first? --Tanline666 (talk) 16:40, 30 August 2021 (UTC)

Cyber Cycles

The penguin bike used in that game is actually usable without MAME cheats, as proven here. Additional information about it can be found here (Japanese) - there seems to be additional condition related to it. FMecha (talk) 19:54, 1 June 2022 (UTC)

Regarding Ready 2 Rumble Boxing PS1 pages

Hi there! I saw you created pages about the PS1 points of Ready 2 Rumble Boxing and Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2! I'm curious as to how you found those debug menu texts, as I've been trying to do that with the Dreamcast port of 1 and the PS2 port of 2!

Thanks in advance! --KingCoryTH (talk) 01:12, 7 March 2023 (UTC)

I just loaded the executable file into a hex editor (I used HxD) and searched for any unused text. Ferrox (talk) 04:34, 11 March 2023 (UTC)
