To do:
There might still be more to find with regional differences, mainly between the US and European versions of the game.

Regional Differences

There are slight differences between the Japanese and American versions of the game.

The Japanese title screen was brightened significantly. A copyright date was also added.

EA Sports 1999 Promo Video

The American version has a promotional video that plays after the EA Sports logo, which advertises games getting a '99 release. The Japanese version, having been released in 1999, understandably never uses this video. However, the video is still on the Japanese disc, under the name XSELLPSX.XA.
