Turok: Rage Wars is a multiplayer-focused spin-off game in the Turok series similar to Quake III Arena or Unreal Tournament.

Version Differences

The original North American 1.0 release of the game (which had a black cartridge) had a bug where the two-player Frag Tag trial would always report mission failure regardless of how many points you had, rendering the Co-Op Medal impossible to achieve. This bug was fixed in a 1.1 version of the game (which had a standard grey cartridge) sent out to players who complained in a poorly-advertised product recall.

Title Screen

Unlike the World version, the subtitle Rage Wars was renamed to Legends of the Lost Land in Germany. Also, the logo has a shadow.

The name of the first level, Proving Ground was changed to First Trial.

Characters

Four characters; Adon, Campaigner, Bastille and Syra have been changed in the German version.

Adon

She was replaced by a robot. Despite her alternate skins being unlocked and having different names, they're identical to the default one.

Options Menu

In the International version, there's a switch where you can turn the blood to Red, Green or Off. This switch was completely removed in the German version.
