Test Stage

To access this level use this codebreaker code: 030053E0:2D. The level is full of different enemies from other levels and the textures are noticeably primitive.

You can also access this level by using the in-game password you can see on a picture above.

Unused/Scrapped Menu Features

Through some memory manipulation I was able to make the game show some interesting strings (apparently menu options) you can't see any other way. That Test Stage is called TestMap and it's located near other level titles, so it might be somehow shown in level select.

There's also an option for language select, which was only in EU version and only as 4 flags on the first loading screen, not in the menu.

Some weird strings like "Cheat" and "Cheat Options" are here as well, but in the game we have only passwords.

You can also see strings like "SELECT A SLOT TO START", "ERASE", "ERASE GAME YES/NO" and it means there could be a typical for GBA games slot select so you could maintain a few game saves at once.

But the most interesting strings are "Music Test" and "SFX Test". Are these debug options still can be accessed somehow or were these features completely scrapped? It definitely needs some additional exploration. The code for Test Stage can basically load every level/menu in the game, you just need to change 2D to hex values from 00 and up to 2D. But what's interesting - some values doesn't load any menus like these were scrapped or something else prevents them from loading...
