Easter Eggs

Alternative icon

If the [Pipe Dream] section of ENTPACK.INI is edited to contain the line Winpipe=1, then the game icon will be replaced by the image of a man with a long neck. At the start of each level, his throat will slowly fill with goo until it starts to flow in the game itself.

If the line CheezHead=1 is added to the same section of the .ini file, the queue of the next pipes to be laid scrolls upward rather than downwards.

Early Icon

Early Final
Twisting that wrench around the pipe won't stop it from leaking. Why are they letting the toxic waste ooze everywhere?

An early icon for Pipe Dream exists in the IdleWild screensaver IconBownz, which was included with Windows Entertainment Pack 3. The wrench is around the pipe and the pipe is vertical, unlike in the final.
