Proto:NASCAR Racing

This page details one or more prototype versions of NASCAR Racing.

An interactive demo of NASCAR Racing was made available in September 1994. The demo's only feature is Preseason Testing at Talladega, while Single Race and Championship Season are unavailable.

It was only available in VGA 320×200, compared with the release version which was available in VGA 320×200 and SVGA 640×480 on the CD-ROM release.

You can view a small number of the opponent cars that are available in the full version.

The player's car was updated for the release version, changing the number from 0 to 94.

While the Wood Brothers #21 Citgo car is featured in the release version, Morgan Shepherd was left out and replaced with fictional driver Leroy Brittain.
