Hmmm...
To do:
  • Unused driver names. I think there were about 10-20 of these, so no subpage will be needed.
  • Unused tracks?
  • Document the 2005 season update, which apparently just updates the Dodge teams from the Intrepid/Stratus to the Charger.

NASCAR SimRacing was the final EA Sports NASCAR title to be released on PC, and it was not something that NASCAR gamers appreciated. Although the physics engine is vastly different from its console versions, there's a whole bunch of leftover content from them, some of which are from as far back as the PC version of NASCAR Thunder 2003 (which used the isiMotor engine like this one).

Content-wise, it is identical to NASCAR 2005: Chase for the Cup, except with Jeremy Mayfield being added at the cost of Jeff Burton, and with the Modified Tour being removed.

Unused Audio

...
This page or section needs more audio.
There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough audio. Please fix this.

The game contains many leftover audio files that were leftover from NASCAR Thunder 2003, NASCAR Thunder 2004, and NASCAR 2005: Chase for the Cup.

297 files from NASCAR Thunder 2003 and 2004, most of which never made it in the game!
