This article is a work in progress. ...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes. |

Also known as: Super Robot Wars Destiny This game has unused areas. |
The fourth SRW game for the GBA, this one is considered the black sheep because of horrible balancing and bugs aplenty. Unlike the two GBA Original Generation games, it eluded, once again, localization.
Debug Menu
To do: Upload screenshots of every sub-menu, and those of every debugger feature in action. |
Like most of the GBA titles, SRW D has a debug menu. Use this code 03001330:31, start a new game, and you'll end up in the debug menu. Disable it once you're in. They include a save file test, a sound test, and some test areas.
Game Start
Starts the game, effectively leaving the debug menu. 20030610A probably refers to the build date of the game, or the debug system.
Tactics
To do: List exhaustively what each of the enemy unit equipped. |
Sends the player to an almost fully functional test map, using the terrain from Stage 1 (Earth route). Some notes:
- There are no dialogues before the stage;
- There are no objectives, meaning that eliminating all 9 enemies (as well as the 3rd side unit) or getting all of your 30 units defeated will not make anything happen;
- Players are all below level 3. All but two enemies are all at level 10, with Emperor Zul at level 5 and Chronicle at level 20. Most enemy units are also packed with extravagant conformal & skill parts, and these include certain weapon items not found in the final game;
- Marg's Gaia is piloted by the enemy version of Marg, since all his six seishin commands are Reconnaissance instead of what they should be;
- Neither Getter Robo contains 3 pilots. Transformations of them crash the game when accessed; (Gou's Getter 1 can still use the Getter Change Attack, though)
- Similarly, Battle 7 contains Max as the only pilot.
Scenario
A menu that can be used to access any scenario. Use the D-pad to navigate around the menu. Pressing R while the cursor is at FLAG allows the ability to edit any of the 25 flags present:
====================== ====================== ====================== ====================== ====================== ====================== ====================== ====================== ====================== ====================== ====================== ====================== NAKAMA SIBIRU BUNKI=4 B=ROUTE ONLY NAKAMA GABIRU BUNKI=4 B=ROUTE ONLY NAKAMA HAMAAN BUNKI=3 B=ROUTE ONLY NAKAMA KURONOKURU BUNKI=3 B=ROUTE ONLY NAKAMA MAAGU BUNKI=3 A=ROUTE ONLY NAKAMA BD ====================== NAKAMA RIVAL AFTER SC34 EVENT GABIRU BUNKI=4 B=ROUTE ONLY EVENT KURONOKURU ====================== EVENT RIVAL ====================== SETTOKU MAAGU2 ====================== SETTOKU MAAGU1 ====================== GET FA THUNDER BUNKI=1 B=ROUTE ONLY GET ZEERON ====================== GET FA ZZ ====================== GET MERCURIUS ====================== GET VAY EATE ====================== GET NGUNDAM HWS BUNKI=2 B=ROUTE ONLY GET VF1J BUNKI=1 B=ROUTE ONLY
The first 6 flags are unused; the others are simply parameters prepared for unlocking secret units/characters. "NAKAMA" means "ally", "SETTOKU" means "convince", and character names are given in romaji. Press Up to enable the current flag, Down to disable, or L to leave the flag section. Press A on the main section to lead you to the intermission menu. The player will be given all units & pilots supposed to be in the party, as well as the amount of gold and conformal & skill parts equivalent to the gross sum of obtainable goods over all previous scenarios.
Battle
Inter Mission
Brings the player to the intermission menu. The player is given:
- 9,989,999 gold, appearing as 0 initially;
- All obtainable units, including unlockables and these units:
- All main character units, both Super and Real;
- Two Forte Gigas's, with different distances for weapons Beam Hammer and Giga Blaster;
- Studium W, a debug unit;
- Javelin, an incomplete unit from Gundam V;
- Two Getter 1's, one with Getter Change Attack, the other without;
- Two identical Black Getters.
- All obtainable pilots, including unlockables:
- They have random levels and random bonus points, the Fire Bombers exclusively maxing out;
- Their melee-combat stats (song-soul with the Fire Bombers) are all raised by 240 by default;
- None are assigned to any unit, therefore certain characters with no exchangeable units, battleship members and sub-pilots may not be assigned to their respective units until scenario events;
- Main-/Sub-pilot variations may exist simultaneously, e.g. Takeru.
- Conformal & skill parts with counts in ascending order. Conformal parts include 41 All Cancelers, 56 Soul Breakers, 57 SP Cancelers, the three unused items from the game;
- Access to all 35 normally accessible sub-missions and the two unused sub-missions Stage 36 and Stage 37.
Some notes:
- It will say that the player had beaten Prologue, but in fact the game treats as having beaten Scenario 1 (Earth route).
- Joshua Radcliff (Real Robot) is the main character. Immediately, he shall be piloting Jean Chevalier, with names carried over from Aile Chevalier;
- Jean Chevalier's weapons could be renamed at the player's will, but initially they have instead the names of Aile Chevalier's weapons. Fābulāris and the real Aile Chevalier, now using unit and weapon names of Ganador, appear as though their weapons can be renamed, but the game crashes upon entering either name input screen;
- The game is deliberately programmed to prevent the gold amount from overflowing through selling conformal & skill parts.
