So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

Bloons Pop! returns the series to its roots after going nearly a decade without any puzzle game entries. Although at a glance its eye-popping colors and bouncy, colorful graphics may recall that of Bubble Witch Saga and Peggle Blast more than that of other Bloons games, Bloons Pop! distinguishes itself with a physics gameplay formula reminiscent of the original Bloons puzzles, damage and pierce mechanics imported from the tower defense games, and a cast of monkeys and heroes from Bloons TD 6.

Unused Graphics

Status Effects

Bp BenEziliAlchemist fx.png
Three status effect overlays that appear to represent those from Bloons TD 6: Benjamin's Syphon Funding on a Regrow Bloon, Ezili's curse, and Alchemist's acid respectively. However, the unused powerup names confirm that The 1st and the 2nd graphic is used for Heart stopper while the 3rd graphic is used for Alchemy or Perishing Potions.

Unused Music

Bloons Pop Menu.wav

An unused song. The game files refer to all of the Scenes as a "main menu" of sorts, so it may have been intended to be used on one or all of them.

Unused Powerup Names

There are some unused names of powerups that are planned to be added at some point during the game's development, as evidenced in the game's text file.

Supply Crate
Heart Stopper
Perishing Potions
Alchemy
Mega Monkeys
Ultra Monkeys

Supply Crate acts just like the supply drop from BTD6. It is supposed to get extra shots.

Oddities

  • For SOME reason, the Acid Gunner wasn't called the Acid Gunner, and in quest icons that referred to Acid Gunner was the Honey Gunner. This was changed very late in development.
  • The Insta Megas icon as seen in the offers were prototype renders of the icons, as they were taken from BTD6. For example: the mega Dart Monkey was the Triple Shot upgrade surrounded by a bunch of spiked balls.
