Proto:Spider-Man 3: Invasion of the Spider-Slayers

This page details one or more prototype versions of Spider-Man 3: Invasion of the Spider-Slayers.

A prototype of Spider-Man 3: Invasion of the Spider-Slayers was released in May 2021 by Aetius.

To do: There is probably more, this is just a surface level look. The controls seem different and the soundtrack may be lifted from the previous game.

General Differences

• The copyright screen and LJN logo are skipped in the prototype.
• The game's header is that of Spider-Man 2. The title screen also re-uses music from that game.
• The "3" and the trademark symbol on the title screen is different and the subtitle uses a different font and lacks it's trademark. Additionally, Spidey's right foot seems to be missing a small tile in the final version.

• There are no cutscenes.
• Stage 1-1 tasks you with stopping 20 muggers, while the prototype only requires 10.
