Also known as: Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari EX (JP)

River City Ransom EX is an enhanced remake of the cult classic NES game. No co-op this time around, but you can form a computer-controlled posse!
Unused Music
Curiously, most of the unused music from the original game was remade for this version, but only one of those songs ended up being used (the ending song).

| These three jingles were also found in the original game. | |
| These two... things are found only in the remake and are located with the sound effects. The first one is a sound effect used in "Downtown Special" for a technique that allows you to transform into an enemy and acquire his powers, suggesting that were plans to include that technique here as well. | |
