Double Dragon II on the Game Boy? Is this based on the version where Marian stays dead at the end or the one where she comes back to life? It's neither actually. This is yet another Kunio game that was graphically modified for the western release, only this time they tied it to their other more globally-known franchise.
Unused Intro Frames
Use Game Genie code 00A‑92F‑E66 to re-enable two unused frames for the opening sequence showing a character lying on a pool of his blood, followed by a close-up of the victim's hand near a name written in blood. This event is alluded in the game's story, but never actually shown presumably to avoid failing Nintendo of America's approval process regarding the depiction of gratuitous or excessive violence.
Disabled Special Move
The Game Genie codes 30B‑769‑E6A (for the US version) or 30A‑509‑E6A (for the Japanese version) will re-enable a finishing grapple move, activated by holding Left or Right during a close-range kick (B).
