Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is a puzzle game by Capcom, which is somewhat reminiscent of the Ace Attorney series. It all starts with your death. In this game you have to possess inanimate objects to find information about your life before the sun rises. Your "Ghost Tricks" will help you save lives and find more about yourself until you vanish.

To do:
  • Three unused jingles. three unused jingles. All need to be converted to ogg, uploaded and described.
  • Lots of printf strings in the code (source: Ed_IT).

Unused Music

This game has quite a bit of unused music.

Sad Version of Missile's Theme

A slower-paced, less upbeat version of Missile's theme.

Alternate Version of Madam's Theme

An alternate version of Madam's theme, based off the filename SEQ_GHOST_BGM053_B. The normal version of Madam's theme is SEQ_GHOST_BGM053. The "_B" suffix is used for alternate versions of tracks in Ghost Trick's music file naming scheme.

Fast-Paced Music

A track that sounds similar to TRAUMA.

Slower-Paced Investigation Song

A track that sounds similar to SUSPICION.

"Happy" Song

This track sounds rather happy and upbeat.

Track That's Similar to "Welcome to the Salon"

A track that sounds similar to "Welcome to the Salon" from the final game.

Another Track That's Similar to "Welcome to the Salon"

Another track that sounds similar to "Welcome to the Salon" from the final game.

Unknown Track

A track that doesn't sound similar to any known tracks.

"Tifa's Theme" Remix

Bizarrely, this song is an arrangement of Tifa's Theme from Final Fantasy VII. Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective and Final Fantasy VII have no connections: the two games don't share publishers, developers, or even composers. It's unknown why this track would be composed at all!

Unused Character Poses

To do:
PNG rips of these.
Lynne-headphones.gif A sprite of young Lynne, wearing headphones. She is already wearing the toy badge that was given to her. Her headphones are actually knocked off in-game, before she even receives her badge.
Lynne-noheadphones.gif Another sprite of young Lynne, same as above but without the headphones. This would probably have been used right after she received her badge.
Jowd-laugh1.gif Jowd's laughing sprite, redesigned with the other outfits he's shown in during the game.

To do:

The game will not display any text if it detects that it is a pirated copy.

Unused Demo Graphics

They still can't remember to remove the demo screens...
