A localization prototype of the iQue version was found within the iQue Netcard leaks in the path netcard\iqgba.tar\iQue-GBA\cvsroot\viewer_design\program\client\system\instsave\Attic\demo.bin,v (file modification date: 2005-09-02). The checkout process must be done manually (or by hand using a hex editor) for this ROM, as "Attic" folders are normally ignored during the CVS checkout process.
General Differences
This build features numerous minor text differences, mainly in terms of placement, spacing, and size.
- No ISBN or iQue logo upon booting the game.
- Different dots are used in text such as the intro subtitles.
- The title screen has a different trademark symbol.
- File select screen is less spaced out.
For whatever reason, pressing Right seems to crash the game. Even during the gameplay demos that play when idle on the title screen, the game crashes when Samus begins to move to the right.
