Grand Theft Auto for the PlayStation is a port of the original PC game. This is also featured in the PlayStation Classic, exclusive in North America and is based on the PAL version of the game.

Demo Version

Much like the PC version, European demo discs such as Euro Demo 28 only have a demo known as the Hot Butch Teaser Version, which lets you play the first chapter of Liberty City with a hidden ten minute time limit. The demo also features a four minute CD audio track that is a compilation of various music from the final game that plays both in the menus and during gameplay, and vehicle missions can't be accessed.
