Developed in the United Kingdom by Sinclair Research, the ZX Spectrum is a venerable (read: ancient) home computer with a massive software library of over 23,000 titles... and counting. Some credit this humble little box and its terrible "membrane" keyboard with effectively launching the British IT industry, and with all the careers it launched in the games biz alone, it's not hard to see why.
