Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is naturally the sequel to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, now with a new story mode, new characters, new stages, new modes, and more unlockable content.

To do: There are a lot more unused models. Similar to the first game, there are tons and tons of unused announcer clips. Prerelease footage. Many Oddities including some of the captions spell SpongeBob's name incorrectly, with the first "B" in his name being uncapitalized as "Spongebob" in the campaign mode, Mrs. Puff's eyelashes disappear from her eyes for a split-second and reappear when she blinks in the campaign mode, a giant black texture is shown in a unfortunate spot on Rocko during his winning animation in the Nintendo Switch version, etc.

Unused Models

Patrick's Trophy

Patrick's trophy from the SpongeBob SquarePants episode Big Pink Loser. Most likely was to be part of Patrick's moveset like the first game before being scrapped.

Squidward's Marble Statue

The marble Statue of David from the SpongeBob SquarePants episode Artist Unknown. This was most likely meant to be part of Squidward's charged down aerial, where he spawns a block of marble from the same episode.

Plankton's Bucket Helmet

A Chum Bucket bucket helmet from The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie can be found with Plankton's props. While certain enemies in Campaign mode wear it, its inclusion with Plankton's files imply it was meant as part of a move or an animation.

Garfello Costume

Hidden in the texture file for Garfield's costumes are textures for a costume based on Garfello, Garfield's costume as a fifth Ninja Turtle from the crossover comic Garfield Meets the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

• Wall techs now take 9 frames and grant 14 frames of intangibility.
• Ceiling techs intangibility increased from 26 frames to 34.
• Jump back now overrides horizontal run/dash momentum.
• Maximum shield health, depletion, and regeneration rates have been decreased by 10%.
• Perfect block is no longer bufferable and it has a 3 frame window. Visual input was added to perfect block frames.
• Tech roll intangibility decreased from 28 frames to 20.

• Fixed an issue where characters would become airborne when standing on the edge of a moving platform when it started to move to the opposite direction. This also fixed an issue where if timed correctly, players could Roll or Tech Roll in order to fly away from the platform.
• Adjusted Collisions on City Aquarium.
• Fixed an issue where some store pop ups would appear without text in Campaign.

Mr. Krabs DLC

Mr. Krabs is added as the first paid DLC character, part of the Season Pass. Additional accommodations are made for the character, including online icons, and support for Campaign mode.

Zuko DLC

Zuko is added as the second paid DLC character, part of the Season Pass. Additional accommodations are made for the character, including online icons, and support for Campaign mode.

v1.7	v1.8+

Zuko had renders in the game's files prior to his DLC being officially launched, albeit with slightly different poses. These renders were altered in version 1.8 with the release of Zuko proper.

v1.09/v1.10

Both v.1.09 and v1.10 were bundled together into a single patch. It released on June 26, 2024, with the following changes:

• Game balance adjustments that can be found here.
• A new Squads mode similar to Squad Strike in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been added.
• New Game+ was added to the campaign, with rule variants, more difficulty options, and new cosmetic rewards.
• New stage layouts for Clockwork Lair have been added.
• Weight values reduced on the following characters: Grandma Gertie, Korra, Mr. Krabs, Patrick, Reptar, and MechaPlankton.
• Improved height at which Gun items projectiles are shot for Azula, Donatello, Ember, Gerald, Grandma Gertie, Korra, Raphael, Reptar, Squidward and Zuko.
• Fixed an issue where characters were able to perform an Item Swing attack instead of a normal Get Up Attack while Down if they were holding a swingable item, this happened most commonly with Grandma Gertie, but was fixed for all characters.
• Fixed an issue where players were not able to control their companion while another companion was spawning for the first time. This bug used to affect Jimmy, Zim and Rocko with their companions.
• Fixed an issue where selecting random would set both characters to random on Training Mode character select screen.

V.1.11

Released on July 3, 2024, with the following changes:

• Game balance adjustments that can be found here.
• A new single player mode called Gauntlet has been added.
• Tremorton Joyride, Pariah's Keep, Rooftop Rumble, and Royal Woods Cemetary all receive new alternate stage layouts.
• Fixed an issue where characters could get hit during their entrance animation in certain boss fights.
• Fixed Jimmy's neutral air from being used as a hitbox and a projectile at the same time.

Rocksteady DLC

Rocksteady is added as the third paid DLC character, part of the Season Pass. Additional accommodations are made for the character, including online icons, and support for Campaign mode.

v.1.11 Hotfix

A hotfix was created on July 23, 2024, with the following change:

• Fixed achievements not unlocking properly since last patch.

V.1.12

Released on August 16, 2024, with the following changes:

• Game balance adjustments that can be found here.
• Two new stages have been added: Timeless Stardial and Conch Street.
• New power-ups havce been made available in Campaign Mode.
• The competitive stage list has been updated with new stages:
  • Rooftop (Clean)
  • Timeless Stardial (Double Platform)
  • Tremorton Joyride (Double Platform)
  • Food Dreams (Moving Platform)
  • Jellyfish Fields (Triangle Platform)
  • Pariah’s Keep (Triangle Platform)
  • Irken Armada (Double Platform)
  • Miracle City Volcano (Triangle Platform)
  • Technodrome (Moving Platform)
• Fixed an issue on all characters where under certain circumstances they were able to Block while airborne, which resulted in the character instantly entering into tumble and crash land.

Iroh DLC

Iroh has been added as the fourth and final member of the first Season Pass. Additional accommodations are made for the character, including online icons, and support for Campaign mode.

V.1.13

Released on November 1, 2024, with the following changes:

• Game balance adjustments that can be found here.
• Weight value adjustments have been made for the following characters: Jimmy, Jenny, Grandma Gertie, Garfield, Raphael, Korra, and Iroh.
• Fixed certain power-ups causing crashes on Campaign mode
• Fixed a bug on Conch Street stage where doodlebob hazard would not spawn correctly
• Fixed crash on Timeless Stardial if 2 or more players were KOd consecutively on the side blastzones
• Fixed characters turning around while transitioning to Idle Air after performing certain special moves while airborne
• Fixed an issue where characters were able to Slime Cancel during hitstun while in the Land Hard state under certain circumstances
