Cheat Menu
In race mode, pause and hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press and hold, in order, Circle, Triangle, X, Square and wait for the 10 dots to turn yellow. (Technically only L1 + R1 are necessary to hold while pressing Circle to get the dots to appear, but since you have to hold L2 and R2 as well to light them, you might as well hold them to begin with.)
- Woundayae: No damage.
- Aglagla: Switch to freeze shots in 2 player.
- Winiwiz: Quick movement (also automagic).
- Yip yip: Greater boost on boosters.
- ????????: Slowdown.
- Yahouuuu: Quit to menu and complete event.

Press L2, Square, Circle at the character selection menu in the European version.
Regional Differences
- The game was renamed to Rayman Arena in the North American release, likely due to fears that the original name, Rayman M, could be misconstrued as the ESRB's "Mature 17+" rating in the region.
- In addition to the PS2 and Windows releases, North America got the game for Nintendo GameCube and Xbox, with both of these ports going completely unreleased in Europe. Changes made to these versions will be covered in the Platform Differences section below.
- The music was slightly altered in Arena.
- LAN play was completely absent in the Windows version of Rayman M, but was added into Arena.
- The ability to shoot Ice Bullets to slow opponents down was added to the racing mode in Arena.
Platform Differences
The NA-exclusive Nintendo GameCube and Xbox ports of Rayman Arena had major changes made to them, from graphical alterations to flat-out removing or adding in-game content. This includes:
- The graphics have been altered, with overall better visual effects. Some textures have also been changed.
- The menus and HUD have been given a complete makeover.
- The single-player mode has been changed, as Leagues have been replaced by Cups.
- There are three new difficulty modes: Beginner, Pro and Master.
- The intro movie in Rayman M has been replaced by a completely new one made specifically for these versions.
- New cutscenes were added in the single-player mode before each Cup, featuring Murfy as a reporter.
- The new characters Dark Rayman and Dark Globox have been added.
- Player health in battle modes is now represented by hearts that can be replenished by defeating opponents.
- The Training, Lums, Popolopoï and Capture the Fly modes have all been removed. A Time Attack mode was added.
- The levels Big Bang and On and On have been removed. The level Speed Stress still remains, but it has been renamed to Run, Run.
- The levels Extreme Slide, Kurai, Low Gravity Arena and Pac Arena have been added.
