Debug Menu

Super Bust-A-Move - debugmenu.png

A fairly small debug menu remains in this game. Only a few options work here. Apply the below code to enable it. With the code on, hold the Select button while the loading icon is on-screen, before the title screen. Press L3 + Start to disable the debug menu. This will disable it the next time you try and go back to it, or hit the TILT option.

With the code on, press the following buttons while over the ---- menu option for more test menus:

  • L1 + X for se test.
  • R1 + X for actuator test.
  • L2 + X for cv test.
  • R2 + X for sound test.
Menu Option Notes
TILT MENU Sends you to the title screen.
toggle status display Toggles a debug display.
toggle pause shade It is unclear what this does.
Frame dump(ALL) Crashes the game.
Frame dump(view) Crashes the game.
round clear Plays a demo.
end Sends you to this menu again.
reset Resets the game.

Selecting toggle status display will display some debug information on-screen. It will also draw a bar on the left of the screen, and a blinking X at the top right:

This will allow you to play all of the SFX in the game. Move with D-Pad and confirm or stop a sound with Circle. Press Triangle to return to the debug menu.

actuator test
