A "sequel" to beatmania DA!!, now with amazing technicolor creatures. It also had an internet ranking feature.

Unused Music/Sounds

Between the game's interface BGM and sounds, the following are not called by the game's script files. They are likely leftovers from beatmania BEST DA!!, which was released the same day.

Unused Text

All three of the Lesson mode chart files (KEY.BMD, MIX.BMD and WORD.BMD) contain genre, title and artist tags, but they are not displayed. They are, as follows:

FANTASY
monde des songe
Bikke

Secret Breakout

Cacti may speak Japanese, but do they speak it well?
...But does it make sense?

In the main menu, clicking the Credits option while holding X triggers a secret breakout game. The paddle is controlled by the mouse. The ball goes faster as more blocks are hit, and "resets" when reaching the bottom of the play field. Nothing happens after all the blocks are cleared, and the screen can be exited by pressing Esc.
