Hmmm...
To do:
Unused Graphics

The game that introduced the lovable Louies and the translation nightmare Bagura/Bagular/Buggler/Buglear/argh. A downgraded version was released on the Genesis/Mega Drive outside Japan.

Westone's rather infamous Genesis port was somewhat faithful to the original, but was held back by console limitations and a lot of laziness in certain areas.

Unused Items

B94-Fire pass and broken egg.png

In the graphics, there exists unused items of a Fire Pass and Broken Egg item. These graphics are loaded into memory but are never used. In the final game, eggs just get destroyed in a miniature explosion like the rest of the items.

Sound Room

Elementary, my dear Cactus.
This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: Was this accessible in Mega Bomberman?

Debug Menu

Elementary, my dear Cactus.
This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: Find a way to properly jump to the "Debug Version" screen without replacing the Sound Room. Maybe there's even a proper button combo for this?

Use the following patch to replace the Sound Room with this "Debug Version" screen. Use the code used to access the Sound Room to enter.
Selecting "Sound Mode" from here would normally bring you to the Sound Room shown above however, due to the current patch, it will loop you back to the Debug Version screen.
This allows you to select any level or boss, and also allows you to view the credits. It will always start you off with a green Louie and three bombs.

Code for loading the "Debug Version" screen begins at 0x25289, and code for loading the Sound Room begins at 0x25D89.
