In Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble, Kirby gets lazy, so he relies on you to move him by tilting your Game Boy Color instead of just walking, because of course he does.

One of only two games to use Memory Bank Controller 7 (the other being Command Master), Tilt 'n' Tumble was made available on the Game Boy - Nintendo Switch Online application in 2023, with the titling feature being replicated with the accelerometers of the Nintendo Switch, its Joy-Cons and the Pro Controller.

Incidentally, Tilt 'n' Tumble is also fully playable on the Game Boy Player, but you probably shouldn't, unless you're fine with tilting your GameCube every which way to move Kirby.

Unused Graphics

Two unused sprites of Kirby meant to be uncovered in the position test in the options, but they don't appear.

C++ Kirbpiler

The name of a C header file used for a script, OBJ.H, probably a remnant of the source code. Who knows why this was converted into graphics format.

Graphics reading "yes" and "no" in Japanese. While "yes" (hai) is fully spelled out, "no" (iie) is spelled simply as "ie". This was probably done to save space in the ROM, with the developers planning to duplicate the first half of the tile in RAM.

Kirbytiltntumble jptitle.png Ouch!

The title screens are different, along with the animations: whereas Kirby falls on a cloud in the Japanese version, he clunks his head against the ground and bounces in the US release. Ouch. Kirby is also more red in the Japanese version.

There's clearly more than one balloon, Kirby. That tip is gonna pop the green balloon.

The minigame Kirby's Balloon was renamed to Kirby's Burst-a-Balloon, better explaining the objective. The whole screen was also moved up a little.

Do the Kirby! Tilt your game from side to side, come on it's time to go do the Kirby!

Dance the Kirby was renamed to Do the Kirby.

Furifuri...? No chicken...?

Kirby's Furifuri Chicken Race dropped the "furifuri" ("shivering") part, obviously because it wouldn't make sense in English.

Kirby's Multi Ball was renamed Kirby's Roll-O-Rama. The Kirby on the bottom-right was also moved slightly, and the blue Kirby's shadow was extended a little.
