See, this is why server preservation is important.
This game's online features are no longer supported.
While this game's online features were once accessible, they are (as of July 1, 2005) no longer officially supported and online-exclusive features may be documented as now-unseen content.
Hmmm...
To do:
  • Document the prototypes, both the public beta and the dummy build.
  • Document many WWE-related leftovers from SYM, including the WWE logo on the turnbuckles in taunt editor (might have came from Japanese version of SYM or HCTP?). Additionally, some items were not properly cleaned from WWE trademarks, such as X-Pac's shoes and Job Squad lower parts.
  • This game's online mode apparently has a shop used to unlock some CAW items. Since the online service has long been shut down, document these too.
  • Test on SYM if this game's moveset arena HIAC works in gameplay.

Online Pro Wrestling: The Champion of the Network is WWE SmackDown!: Shut Your Mouth with online gameplay (using the feega subscription service) and the game's wrestlers (including built-in ones, some of which are pastiches of WWE and puroresu stars) all being CAWs.

Dummy File

The DMY.DAT file contains an earlier build of the game, dated October 24, 2003, while DMY01.DAT and DMY02.DAT are incomplete copies of a February 28, 2004 build. For reference, the final build of the game is dated April 1, 2004.

Hell in a Cell

The moveset editor arena (but none of the playable arenas) contains data for the Hell in a Cell structure, unused in this game due to lack of the game mode (or atleast one that could skirt WWE's trademark on it). If the arena is ported to Shut Your Mouth, replacing that game's moveset editor arena, it is possible to see the cell by editing a wrestler's Edge of the Ceiling grapple moves in Shut Your Mouth.
