WWE 2K23 is the 2023 installment of the WWE 2K series, featuring an expansive roster of Superstars, Legends, Hall of Famers, and more from across all eras of WWE. It also marks the introduction of WarGames match type to the WWE gaming universe, WCW's iconic (and as of 2017, WWE's) ridiculously epic scale two-ring four-a-side cage match and Dusty Rhodes' second most famous creation after Cody and Dustin. Amazing what technology can achieve, huh?

Unplayable Characters These wrestlers still cannot be unlocked normally.

Inaccessible Arenas

A total of whopping 51 inaccessible arenas can be accessed. Most of them are backstage or otherwise non-wrestling areas only used in MyRise, or in certain modes like the WarGames double rings.

Others are used for testing.

One of these arenas, interestingly, is the classic Attitude Era Raw Is War ring, which is almost complete aside from inaccurate ringside mats and missing the entrance setup.

A lot of these have no collision, and playing around with these areas long enough will crash your game.

Unused Content

There are some leftover renders featuring Modern Lita, Maxxine Dupri, Mandy Rose, and an alternative version of Sami Zayn (reflecting his time as a member of the Bloodline faction). Ultimately, Mandy Rose and Maxxine Dupri were cut from the game entirely, while Modern Lita was replaced by Rated R Lita, and Sami got a updated render. Dupri and Modern Lita would go on to appear as playable characters in WWE 2K24, albeit with different renders.

CAW Fenale Superstar Image

Sometimes when trying to load your images, there's a chance that a placeholder CAW female superstar image will show up, it will only show for a few seconds before the images load up.
