So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?
Hmmm...
To do:
Needs more information on cut superstars, and look into the PC version.
  • WWE 2K15, 2K16 and 2K17's Xbox 360/PS3 versions are based on WWE 2K14. Check leftovers that aren't used in WWE 2K15.

WWE 2K15 is the second game in the series to use the WWE 2K name. WWE Superstar John Cena curated the soundtrack, which includes some original tracks produced by Cena and artist Wiz Khalifa.

Cut Superstars

Hmmm...
To do:
Most of the content here appears to be taken from the next-gen versions, except for one video. Replace some of these or at least move them over to a new page for the next-gen versions.

Trish Stratus

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus' entrance theme and some related announcer files (including Michael Cole saying "And Trish makes the cover!") can be found in the files of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, but her entrance theme is only found in the European version. It's possible that she was meant to be in the game at one point, and she would have been part of the Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels rivalry in 2K Showcase as a bonus match. Occasionally, the line of dialogue can be heard in gameplay. However, it is completely random and there is no way of purposely triggering the audio.

Sin Cara

Sin Cara was also cut from the game's 'NXT Arrival' DLC pack, as he was on the NXT brand at the time of the games release. On rare occasion, getting a pin with Konnor, Micheal Cole can be heard saying: "Sin Cara wins!" It is unknown whether or not this is still in the game, due to it being very rare to find. This may not indicate a cut character and could rather be a piece of leftover content from the previous game. Whether or not this is true is unknown.

Enzo Amore

Similar to Sin Cara, a rare glitch that has since been patched out involving the alternate version of Randy Orton included in the 'Hall of Pain' Showcase DLC pack would sometimes be announced as NXT Superstar Enzo Amore during his ring entrance.

Lana

There is also data suggesting Lana having been a manager. In the final game, she is only an extra in Rusev's entrance and victory animations, however, there exists character portraits and leftover data and bits of code that suggest that she was intended to stay at ringside during matches. This may have been changed to prevent players assigning Lana to other wrestlers. Lana's portrait can be viewed on the WWE 2K15 website, found on the roster page. You can also use her render as a player icon in the online mode of the game. She is marked as a 'manager'.
