Hmmm...
To do:
Check for leftovers relating to Jira, Jabba's Porter, paddy frogs, Barbo's droid and playable STAP and AAT.

Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace for Windows is arguably a better experience than the film itself. Namely because it allows you to, among other things, kill Jar Jar Binks.

Unused Dialogue

Hmmm...
To do:
There's probably more.
  • All dialogue consists of both audio and a text string.

Unused dialogue from Qui-Gon Jinn intended for the Swamps of Naboo level includes references to a drivable STAP vehicle. Both the STAP vehicle and a playable AAT tank were scrapped because the developers didn't have enough time to make them functional before the game's deadline.

Obi-Wan... Use the space bar to mount the STAP.
QGD9991.WV
Obi-Wan... Use the action key to mount the STAP.
QGD9992.WV
Obi-Wan... Find Jar Jar Binks. He will help you.
QGD9993.WV
Obi-Wan... Push the rock into the pit.
QGD9994.WV
Obi-Wan... You must push the rock...

Dialogue from Barbo reveals he would have given the player a droid in exchange for the Krayt Dragon tooth. The droid was removed because it had pathfinding problems.

Not for Podracer parts, but I give you old droid for that tooth!

A line from Qui-Gon Jinn is likely part of this exchange.

QGD3134.WV
How about a Krayt Dragon tooth! You don't see those everyday!

Jira from the film was intended to appear but never made it to the final game because developers were not given a reference for her physical appearance. Her dialogue is still present.

JID9200.WV
Hello. I'm Jira, one of Mos Espa's oldest residents.
JID9201.WV
Fruits, hydroponic vegetables, and paddy frogs.
JID9202.WV
(Sigh) Tired, and this heat is almost unbearable. But, my stand has been busy all morning.
JID9203.WV
Well, I can sell you one for seven truguts.
JID9204.WV
A paddy frog is an ill-tempered reptile from Klatooine. We keep them in small tanks filled with brandy to prevent them from attacking and killing one another.
JID9205.WV
I'm sorry, but I can only deal in truguts and peggats.
JID9206.WV
You're friends with Anakin? Why didn't you say so? He's the most generous boy in all of Mos Espa. Here, take this paddy frog as a gift!

Qui-Gon Jinn also has dialogue where he interacts with Jira.

QGD0264.WV
Hello, Jira. What are you selling?
QGD0265.WV
Hello, Jira. How are you today?
QGD0266.WV
I'm sorry, Jira, but I don't have time to talk.
QGD0267.WV
I need a paddy frog for... a friend of mine.
QGD0268.WV
Paddy frogs? What manner of creature is this?
QGD0269.WV
I hope your stand overflows with customers. I must go now.
QGD0270.WV
What are you selling?
QGD0271.WV
I don't have any truguts, but I can give you Republic credits.
QGD0272.WV
That's too expensive. I'll look elsewhere.
QGD0273.WV
Perhaps I'll buy one later. Right now, I must go watch Anakin win the Podrace!

Another unused character with leftover dialogue is Jabba's Porter, who was cut because he was part of the same sidequest as Jira.

Audio filename Sound clip Text
JPM8600.WV
What can I do for you?
JPM8601.WV
I am Jabba's porter. I bring him food and whatever else he might need.
JPM8602.WV
He's angry with me because I haven't been able to find any fresh paddy frogs. They're his favorite snack.
JPM8603.WV
Sometimes the street merchants sell them, but the frogs are hard to find. They are shipped here from Klatooine.
JPM8604.WV
If you could find me a paddy frog, it could save my life. Jabba is taking a trip to the Sarlacc pit tomorrow, and he insists that I go with him!
JPM8605.WV
Sebulba always wins the Podraces. No one else even comes close.
JPM8606.WV
Just between you and me, I've heard that his Podracer has several illegal modifications.
JPM8607.WV
Sebulba is merciless on the racetrack. I'd be worried about the boy, if I were you. He may not survive the race.
JPM8608.WV
Did...Did you come across any paddy frogs?
JPM8609.WV
That's wonderful! Thank you!
JPM8610.WV
Here you are, O Most Festive Jabba. Enjoy this paddy frog, your Voluminousness.
JPM8611.WV
You've saved my life! Here, let me give you something for your troubles.
JPM8612.WV
I need a paddy frog! If you find one, please bring it to me.
JPM8613.WV
Yes, your Enormity! P...Please forgive me! I will find one for you.
JPM8614.WV
Excuse me.
JPM9916.WV
Aaaigh!

A line from the Queen.

Audio filename Sound clip Text
PAD9612.WV
I do not understand why the Senate has not voted against the Trade Federation. I must return to Naboo to help my people.

Dialogue from Obi-Wan Kenobi from the end of the game.

OBM0902.WV
I'll kill you!
OBM0909.WV
Qui-Gon is now one with the Force.
OBM0910.WV
I must honor his memory by teaching Anakin.
