Stop being a jerk

I run multiple blogs and YT channels. Unless you'd like an epic video written about how much of a tool you're being, you better stop removing my video. There is no good reason for you to be removing it. I am getting sick and tired of "Admins" reverting edits on wikia pages that already have Youtube videos, just because you have a personal agenda. Wikias are supposed to be for people to add information to freely. --Rpgfanboy 15:33, 6 January 2013 (EST)

And before you respond give me one good reason why my video does not improve the article, since the article, which currently doesn't fully explain anything about the game. --Rpgfanboy 15:34, 6 January 2013 (EST)

We're not here to explain the game. Go add your article "review" to Wikipedia, I'm sure they'd love to have it. --Xk-sig.png Xkeeper (talk) 15:35, 6 January 2013 (EST)
Your video has nothing to do with the content covered on TCRF, so it's not relevant here. That's all the reason I need. We don't endeavor to explain anything about games, as you might know if you looked at our guidelines. This isn't a wikia page, and it seems like they have the same problem with your video that we do. This isn't a democracy, this is a privately-run wiki. --GlitterBerri 15:37, 6 January 2013 (EST)

Help

I've been working on the Mafia II page and some pieces of text seem to be going all the way to the side. Is there a way to fix this?--WLSI cactus 01.gifAK47Productions

It seems like stuff in pre tags doesn't wrap automatically. That means you either need to manually insert line breaks, or take the text out of pre and organize it some other way. If you want an easy way of dividing up sections of text without having them in handy boxes like that, you can use four dashes (----) to insert a horizontal line. Maybe I should add these things to the Edit Help section too. :) --GlitterBerri 17:44, 30 January 2013 (EST)

N64 Screenshot Resolution

Hi, I started a discussion about this on the image help page and I wanted to make sure you saw it: Help_talk:Contents/Images. In short, the current guidelines over at RHDN are what the NTSC console would output, not what the games are actually rendering at. --Dragonsbrethren 14:16, 4 February 2013 (EST)

Hi there, I saw that. I wish I could contribute, but I actually don't know too much about screen resolutions and the like. Someone like BMF54123 might be able to weigh in better than I could. --GlitterBerri 16:52, 4 February 2013 (EST)
Gotcha, I'll point it out to BMF. --Dragonsbrethren 17:12, 4 February 2013 (EST)

Holy Crap!!

Are you the same GlitterBerri that translated the Zelda Official Timeline from the Hyrule Historia back in 2011?! If that's you, then what a boss! You're awesome!! :D

Thanks, I will try to if I can, btw i'm new to this wiki, I am currently also reading the guidelines, thanks for the nice feedback! --Spxdes

Thanks, I appreciate it! No harm meant. Remember, we only cover early and unused content if it's still found in the game code, so don't add anything about "beta" content, okay? Also, please reply to people's comments on the talk page they were left in order to avoid splitting up the conversation. Pre Release "Archive"

Though Im sure this may have been brought up before but with all this pre release material coming in the wiki maybe its time to get some kinda archive going? Just a thought. --WLSI cactus 01.gifAK47Productions

It's been discussed in the forums a few times, but I think it's easier said than done to create a prerelease material section. While I myself am interested in something like that, there's also concern that it would turn TCRF into a hive of the baseless speculation it's so easy to make when it comes to early and cut content. In addition, we'd have to figure out what's relevant and what's redundant in terms of screenshots and footage. For example, I have a ton of Zelda prerelease footage on my site, but a lot of it depicts only minor differences. Is that important enough to archive? Does TCRF have enough space for hundreds of additional screenshots? --GlitterBerri 22:46, 17 February 2013 (EST)
I'd definitely like to see a place to put prerelease screenshots/footage with rules similar to the ones here. No speculation, just facts and pretty pictures. As for redundancy, that depends on the goal. Is the archive intended to be taken literally, archiving any and all prerelease material? Or is it only intended to document things that actually changed/were removed during development? IMO, the latter fits with TCRF's style better. Example: I have a crapload of screenshots showing the old AK47 model in GoldenEye. I really only need to post two: One showing it in profile, one showing it in first person view. --Dragonsbrethren 01:54, 18 February 2013 (EST)

The Wind Waker

Hey there, GlitterBerri! I haven't seen you around on IRC lately. No worries, though. I know people get busy.

Just wanted to mention that I noticed something interesting when I was staring at the folders in TWW's Stage directory. While the Ganon's Tower files are contained in folders called "GanonX", where X is a letter starting from A, there are four missing folders - they go from E to J, skipping F, G, H, and I. This means that they were deleted for some reason... Interestingly, B, C, D, and E are Dragon Roost Cavern's, the Wind Temple's, Forest Haven's, and the Earth Temple's (in that order, bizarrely) mini-trials. With the dungeon mini-trials grouped like this, could it be that F, G, H, and I were the fire and ice dungeons (the ones implied by the "Minikaz" and "Minihyo" mini-dungeon folder names), Jabun's cut dungeon, and the Tower of the Gods or another cut dungeon? Something to think about! -Gamma 17:18, 13 March 2013 (EDT)

Japanese translation on Sonic Mega Collection

Hello, since you seem to be much more fluent in Japanese than I am, I was wondering if you would take a look at my short translation on Talk:Sonic Mega Collection.

Particularly, I translated この冬発売予定 まっててね! as "Planned release is this winter, can you wait!" but I'm uncertain about the まっててね. From context, I'm 90% certain that it's the potential form of 待つ, but since it's written in kana I can't be 100% certain and would like to get an opinion from someone more fluent before I add it to the page.

Thank you!

Prerelease Articles

Saw you're putting up help pages for these, it cool to start creating them? --Dragonsbrethren (talk) 01:01, 26 December 2013 (EST)

Go wild! That being said, the rules are subject to change and undergo tweaking as we see how Prerelease articles actually turn out in practice. I'm currently doing an Ocarina of Time prerelease page which will ideally serve as an example, once I'm finished! --GlitterBerri (talk) 01:16, 26 December 2013 (EST)

A problem about translating

Apparently, if a translation contains an external link (e.g. SpellCheckPlus), it will not save correctly. To save my translation on Help:Contents/Rules & Guidelines, I had to mention SpellCheckPlus without the link... This must have something to do with the captcha required when entering external links on any sort of edit, except no captcha appears on the translation page. Any ideas?
Also, I have 3 more things to point out. First, frequently, a translation will say "saving..." indefinitely; it'll save successfully, but it'll glitch some things up. It might be a glitch with the extension itself, but maybe you know what's up. Secondly, I talked to divingkataetheweirdo about all translated main pages containing a warning for foreigns users to use English in their articles, and not the language the main page is currently at for them. I did this on my translation already, but I never saw it become an official guideline or anything, so I thought I'd bring it up again. Finally, could you add my name to the list of translators real quick? I'm doing the European Portuguese translation; TempleofDreams is doing the Brazilian Portuguese one. {EspyoT} 16:40, 4 January 2014 (EST)

Question About "Sources"

Hi, I have a question about something that bugs me a lot, and that is, do I use sources to cite information that:

  • I got from other sites (for example, this);
  • was discovered by me, or someone else that has an account in the wiki;
  • or both?

(also, thank you very much for recommending SpellCheckPlus for me, it helped me A LOT) TempleofDreams (talk) 21:11, 17 January 2014 (EST)

No problem, your English seems flawless now. :) As for sources, it's courteous to credit people for their findings or work in uncovering something. When it comes to crediting yourself, it's up to you whether or not you want to. As the wiki is a public works project, I think some people find it a little stuck up to always credit yourself for everything you add to the wiki, but if you worked really hard on something and want to be cited as the source, then you should add your name. In my case, other people usually credit me when I help them with translations that they add to the wiki, but I don't credit myself when I add translations to the wiki. --GlitterBerri (talk) 23:53, 17 January 2014 (EST)

Need Help with Ocarina of Time/ZSO related Stuff - Unused textbox backgrounds

Hi Glitterberri,

I remember that someone posted a gameshark code on ZSO forums which changed the background graphic of the textboxes in Ocarina of Time.

There were several unused ones and one of them had a similar appearance to the one used in Twilight Princess with the swirly designs.

Porcino said, you showed him once an image of something like this - he looked into it and thought it was just texture modding, but I'm pretty confident that it was running on my Project64 without any modding.

I'm not shure if it was exclusively for the Debug rom or Ocarina of Time 1.0.

Maybe you can shed some light into it. --ZeeRoX (talk) 14:56, 16 November 2014 (EST)

Plans for other Zelda prerelease articles?

Hey there! Your month-by-month format for OoT's development history was really informative, and it was satisfying to see all those old images collected in one place. Without it being archived, old screens and interviews could easily be buried under content from the released game. Anyways, are there plans to do this sort of thing for more Zelda games later on? I'd like to see Link to the Past and Wind Waker, personally. Especially since Wind Waker's prerelease is kind of infamous. Pik (talk) 15:50, 7 December 2015 (EST)

I'm still not finished the Ocarina of Time one, so would you like to help me work on the others? :) --GlitterBerri (talk) 15:52, 7 January 2015 (EST)
That'd be pretty cool, I'll see what I can compile. Pik (talk) 15:57, 7 January 2015 (EST)
You can find some staff interviews on the making of The Wind Waker, concept art, and a ton of prerelease screenshots at this link. You can also find a couple of interviews on the making of A Link to the Past, as well as some concept art, here. I've never seen any prerelease ALttP screenshots, though. I made a template page for a Majora's Mask prerelease article here, perhaps you can adapt it for another prerelease Zelda article? Also, come to IRC if you want help, to talk Zelda, or to talk with me. --GlitterBerri (talk) 16:12, 7 January 2015 (EST)
Thanks for these resources, and I'll check out the IRC later today. On a slightly unrelated note, seeing those Spaceworld tech demo screenshots remind me; Ganon's model was reused pretty much exactly in Melee, though his arm mesh was edited. The Sword models are exactly the same as well; I've compared the vertices and texture mapping. Especially compared to Link and Zelda, who seem to have new models completely. Pretty neat that we have a piece of what many people consider "lost media", heheh --Pik (talk) 18:11, 7 January 2015 (EST)
That is pretty cool, I didn't realize. :) Similarly, Link's downward thrust attack went unused in Ocarina of Time, but was put into Super Smash Bros. for N64. --GlitterBerri (talk) 18:13, 7 January 2015 (EST)
"I've never seen any prerelease ALttP screenshots, though." There's four over at Unseen64. There's some graphical differences (most noticeably the floors in Hyrule Castle), and Link has a maximum of 16 hearts instead of 20. -WarioBarker (talk) 18:18, 19 January 2015 (EST)

I replaced a couple images that were .jpg. I couldn't upload a new version of the files because my replacements use .png. I uploaded the replacements on their own, but now the old images need to be deleted. How do I indicate that? Or maybe, was I supposed to do something else?

Questions about Twilight Princess to English conversion

Hi GB! You haven't been on #zelda recently so I thought this was the best way to message you.
I have a question about something I read on TVTropes, it says that
""In the English version of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Midna's dialogue to Link right before she breaks the Mirror of Twilight is "Link, I...see you later." Some translations of the Japanese imply that the drifting "I..." wasn't in the original version. Considering that a lot of fans have interpreted the evocative statement to mean she was going to say or confess something very emotional and heartwarming (the most obvious being "I love you" or something similar), it can mildly alter a player's view of Midna and her relationship to Link. With or without the change, the scene is one of the most emotionally charged in the game, though. Also, in Japanese, Midna just says "bye" before breaking the mirror. In English, it's turned into a Meaningful Echo of her Catch Phrase."
Is that true? I don't think TVTropes is very reliable, personally, and I'd trust your word a lot more. I think that's interesting enough to add to the article if it's true. Oh, and I found a ton of prerelease Zelda images. IDK if you have any of them.Robotortoise (talk) 22:09, 20 November 2015 (EST)

Hey GB,

Stuff relevant to these pages:

Proto:The_Legend_of_Zelda:_Twilight_Princess

Proto:The_Legend_of_Zelda:_Skyward_Sword

I'm unsure if the map selects can be loaded. The best person to ask would be Dark Linkaël since he figured out how to load the map select for Wind Waker. However, he really isn't an active user on TCRF anymore so you might have to go beyond here to get in contact with him. I can't remember whether or not he touched either demo.

From what I can see, the TP demo only contains 7 stages listed below. Take these short descriptions with a grain of salt because it has been at least 5 years since I have last played TP:

  • D_MN04A: Fyrus' boss room.
  • D_MN54: Parts of the Goron Mine.
  • F_SP102: Some part of Hyrule Field
  • F_SP127: Fishing Hole
  • R_SP107: Hyrule Castle from the beginning of the game as Wolf Link
  • R_SP127: Hena's Fishing Hut
  • S_MV000: Same and unused as it is in the final version of the game

Since you translated the map select then you can find more accurate meanings there. I don't have the demo to SS so there is nothing I can say about what stages exist in that ISO. But yeah, this at least informed you about what stages exist in the TP demo. --Cuber456 (talk) 19:53, 8 January 2016 (EST)

Question about the Zelda 64 1997 Space World demo

Hi Glitterberri, did you ever play the Zelda: Ocarina of Time Space World demo from 1997? I am trying to find out more about this exact prototype, eventually I found this page - https://search.mibbit.com/networks/rizon/%23.blank and if you do ctrl+f and search "proto," it will eventually highlight a message that read that you had the Space World prototype. I am guessing that these people were just joking around, but I still thought I would ask you just in case. There was also a link to an image in the bottom part of this message, it's probably nothing but it looked sort of interesting - https://imgur.com/hqTp5jl

Cependant, il y a Breath of the Wild qui vient d'arriver.
Merci ! :)

Korean translation

Hello, I'm inetidkm. I hope to translate articles of TCRF in Korean language. Can I do it now? And, although TCRF haven't had any Korean language translation, does this wiki automatically register translations as Korean language when I translated? --Inetidkm (talk) 07:16, 6 May 2016 (EDT)

When I tried to save translation, some of them which contains external links couldn't be saved. I temporarily saved without external links, but I saw that another language translation contains them. Can I know why and how to fix it? --Inetidkm (talk) 04:01, 7 May 2016 (EDT)

I'm not sure about the first question, but pages with the language bar should be able to be translated by adding /ko to the end of a page and then editing it. For the 2nd question, I'm not sure what's going wrong. Could you link what page you're trying so I can have a look? -Einstein95 (talk) 06:17, 7 May 2016 (EDT)
Thank you for answering. I'm now translating Pokémon_Red_and_Blue/ko in Korean language. For a short example, when I wanted to translate
The code exists in Pokémon Red and Green too, at {{hex|01:4B8D}}, where it seems to work the same.{{source|[http://forums.glitchcity.info/index.php/topic,7012.msg196197.html Glitch City Laboratories Forums]}}{{clear}}
into
이 코드는 포켓몬스터 적·녹에도 똑같이 작동하는 부분이 있으며, {{hex|01:4B8D}}에 존재한다. {{source|[http://forums.glitchcity.info/index.php/topic,7012.msg196197.html Glitch City Laboratories Forums]}}{{clear}}
and saved this, wiki couldn't save all of contents because of external link from source. THERE IS STILL UNTRANSLATED! I can assure this problem is due to external link because all parts of what I translated with external link couldn't be saved(So I've saved without external link(s) instead). I'm using Firefox 46.0 with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. How can I do for it? --Inetidkm (talk) 07:02, 7 May 2016 (EDT)
I've managed to paste your translation in and have it successfully save. I believe it is due to your edit rights as a user, but admins are currently discussing whether it is or not. -Einstein95 (talk) 07:11, 7 May 2016 (EDT)
OK, I will edit without external links for a while until fixed. I was surprised that admins can translate including external links. Anyway, thanks. --Inetidkm (talk) 07:22, 7 May 2016 (EDT)

MM: Ocarina of Time Leftovers

Apparently the saving the game thing never got moved to any other page when this one was deleted. So now that information is gone, which I only actually noticed when you referenced it in Proto:The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask/Preview Demo. Since I can't look at deleted pages it would be nice if you could restore that and put it somewhere sensible. -- Sheeza (talk) 18:19, 23 October 2016 (EDT)

I actually noticed that myself, since I was intending to link the relevant section from the demo page. Don't worry, I've asked fkualol for the data again and I'm the process of re-adding it. Thanks for the heads up, though! --GlitterBerri (talk) 18:45, 23 October 2016 (EDT)

Raw Danger Translation Question

Hey, I'm sorry for missing your question on IRC. I don't have any timestamps on IRC so I'm not sure when you sent me a PM. Unfortunately I've been extremely busy with work and haven't seen your message. If you try sending me another message or replying to this message I'll try and reply to you.

For the record, it's also there in Japanese FRLG (「ポイ!と」) but that could be lazy copy-pasting. SatoMew (talk) 11:43, 26 December 2016 (EST)

I'll defer to anything GlitterBerri says on the matter, but both of those look perfectly OK to me. It's a little hard to explain, but in the original Japanese the way that that particular grammatical structure is used, it seems perfectly OK to me. Bast (talk) 12:16, 26 December 2016 (EST)
Oh. Is it meant to indicate emphasis? SatoMew (talk) 13:53, 28 December 2016 (EST)
In a nutshell, yes. It's very common for Japanese sound-effect-words to have a 「と」 at the end, which serves (among other things) to mark it as a sound effect. The stuff that comes before the 「と」 is the actual sound effect itself, so seeing an exclamation mark come before the 「と」is not surprising to me at all. Bast (talk) 02:36, 2 January 2017 (EST)

Page Move

Your move of the Debugging Material subpage for Super Mario 64 affected the translations of the page. I can't move them over to the new page title, as the translation tool doesn't allow me to. The translation tool doesn't seem to be moving the translations over to the new location either, which can be a big problem. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 17:18, 15 January 2017 (EST)

Sorry, diving, I didn't realize! What should I do? --GlitterBerri (talk) 17:22, 15 January 2017 (EST)
Nothing. What happened was that the wiki had too many jobs to process and so the queue got clogged. It's fixed now. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 03:56, 17 January 2017 (EST)

Re: Contact

Hi GlitterBerri! Sure, if you have Discord my ID is Torchickens #3213 (with the Starfy and My Melody icon) and I'll try my best to answer your questions. :) I also have a Skype (in which my username is also Torchickens) but I usually prefer Discord. Note I know more about Generation I and I don't consider myself to be that confident from a code perspective (though the disassembly projects helps a lot) but hopefully can help. It's just turned midnight in my timezone so I'm signing off now but more than happy to talk with you tomorrow. Torchickens (talk) 20:04, 21 March 2017 (EDT)

Cool, thank you! I'll add you and try messaging you tomorrow, then. Have a good night! (And duly noted - I might actually have some questions about Gen I as well.) --GlitterBerri (talk) 20:06, 21 March 2017 (EDT)

Can I please get on category:ja?

Hello, I am fluent in both Japanese and English and I was wondering if I could get my name added to category:ja, which shows which users are fluent in Japanese. Mr. Kite (talk) 10:23, 6 May 2017 (EDT)

Hello, if you're referring to the Babel language categories, you can do this yourself by placing the appropriate template on your user-page. Please see the instructions we've provided on how to go about doing so. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. -- Bast (talk) 10:44, 6 May 2017 (EDT)

Nintendo 64 texture/model/audio ripping: how??

Yo Glitterberri, I have started to increasingly wonder with every update a Nintendo 64 page gets about textures and models and audio, how are those textures and models and sounds ripped? I would love to know. Thanks! Sultanofswag89 (talk) 00:24, 30 May 2017 (EDT)

They're usually ripped by decompressing the ROM and extracting them then or by dumping them with an emulator. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 01:13, 30 May 2017 (EDT)
Do you know how? Would it require a very complex and hard-to-understand? I really hope not. |:( Sultanofswag89 (talk) 02:52, 12 August 2017 (EDT)
One way is memory dumping while the game is running and using a tool like PixelDbg or Tile Molester. There are third party tools for decompressing N64 games with varying degrees of user friendliness. If those tools don't support the game you want to dig into, you may have to do some coding yourself. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 03:35, 12 August 2017 (EDT)

Can audio files be downloaded?

On my iPad, I am given the option to use the VLC Media Player to hear the files, but on a PC or phone, with or without VLC, I can't. It also applies with downloading them. How can I hear/download the files on a computer or phone? Sultanofswag89 (talk) 15:58, 16 August 2017 (EDT)

reCAPTCHA v1 shutdown

I posted this on the main page discussion and didn't receive a response, but reCAPTCHA v1 will not work after March 31, 2018. The site needs to update to reCAPTCHA v2 at g.co/recaptcha/upgrade as soon as possible so people can add links. Rjd1922 (talk) 16:56, 22 March 2018 (EDT)

We're aware of this issue. To properly resolve this, we'll need to upgrade MediaWiki itself (we're on 1.25 at the moment) and possibly move servers. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 21:16, 22 March 2018 (EDT)

OoT/Prerendered images

Hi, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Prerendered Images#Hyrule Field Preview (which, having looked back through the history, you wrote) doesn't look right at all to me, as I gave reasons for on the talk page. I thought I'd better give you a heads-up before I remove it though. - Sanityormadness (talk) 14:19, 7 August 2018 (EDT)

Update translations?

Hello, GlitterBerri!

I joined the wiki today to update/write Japanese translations. I started off with Pokémon_Red_and_Blue/ja. Struggling for some hours, finish some lines, and finally aware of the fact that the revision I just translated is based on much older one than the current English page.

In such cases, how should I do? Continue translating the outdated page, or discard the current translation and tackle on the newest one? --Kotonoha (talk) 18:14, 25 September 2018 (EDT)

Hello! First, welcome to the wiki! I'm always happy to see more translators come here! I'd like to offer my own opinion on this matter. I'd recommend a third option: While TCRF strives for perfection, we understand that in reality, simply making any improvement at all is better than nothing.
What I'd recommend you do is to leave the current (old) translation as-is. It's better to have something than nothing. But continue from here on by translating the new page. If/when you finish translating the new page, then you can go back and retranslate the parts you've already done.
Pages as popular as the Pokemon ones tend to change too rapidly to keep up with every change made to them, so no matter what you do, there will still be changes made to the English version that would cause you to go back and re-translate it. There's no need to completely throw away what you have so far, so just save it, continue on with the new stuff, and come back to your old translation later.
改めてTCRFへようこそ!TCRFは日本語の母語話者にも普及されていますように。何でも改善すればいいです。 -- Bast (talk) 08:21, 26 September 2018 (EDT)

Shining Force 3 Translations

Hi GlitterBerri. I just recently joined the wiki and decided to get back in practice with my Japanese by doing a few translations for the site. I've completed one and wanted somebody with a bit more experience with both wikis and Japanese to make sure that the page looks well formatted and to skim over the translation to make sure it is acceptable as well. The page I completed the translation for was Shining Force III: Premium Disc. If there are any changes I should make or things I should watch for in the future, please let me know. I'm holding off on adding more translations until I know that my quality meets expectations.

Thanks in advance. If Discord is a more convenient way to get in touch with you, my tag is ghostlink2027#3702. Ghostlink2027 (talk) 15:39, 3 October 2018 (EDT)

Unfinished Patches in Transformers Famicom

On the Transformers: Convoy no Nazo page, when I saw that the ground patches were unfinished in stages 1 and 7, I was kind of mystified. If they’re not finished, why does there seem to be other tiles there besides, like, black tiles for the background? Were other tiles placed there temporarily? - Sultanofswag89 (talk) 22:39, 17 October 2018 EDT

Your website may have been hacked! Several spam post sighted.

Your website (https://www.glitterberri.com) recently got several very-spam looking blogposts titled "The Insider Secrets for Hello World" (has multiple instances), "A Simple Tip About Weight Loss Exposed", "The Tried and True Method for Best Cbd Oil for Anxiety in Step by Step Detail", and some more, by a person named "Fizzle". I recommend checking your site's security settings again before someone takes complete control of your site. Purplebridge001 (talk) 00:59, 10 July 2019 (EDT)

Are you able to change my username on this site?

When I first made my account here, lorenzsandi was my username. I have since then switched to my current username "teh_supar_hackr" on mostlly everything that I use except here as there is no username change option. I was wondering you you or some admin here on tcrf can change my username to "teh_supar_hackr", and keep the contributions that I have contributed thus far on this site.

Random Question

I was looking at the Prerelease section of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, and a video posted on that page is footage of a 1995 prototype. A few seconds into the video, the subtitles said "Original 2010 translation by GlitterBerri"! Are you the same GlitterBerri? Here's the video for context (it's the first one shown on the page). Translating help

Hi! LinkTheLefty (who is known as AutumnMouse on this site) found a ton of prerelease things for Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, such as screenshots and maybe a video that are not yet documented. I came to you because there is a lot to sort through, and there's a lot of screenshots that need to be translated from Japanese into English. The content AutumnMouse found is located here, and I'd very much appreciate it if you'd take a look. I will be helping out on both TCRF and Mario Wiki on documenting this, but I'm very new to this sort of work. If you can help out, I'd be extremely grateful. Thanks! -- FanOfRosalina2007 (talk) 19:30, 24 November 2023 (UTC)

Putting up a reproduced prototype

Hi, I’m planning on putting up a ROM for a prototype called Cheetahmen: The Creation for NES, an early “Game #52” on the notorious Action 52 game cartridge. My question is, can this ROM be released as a prototype online? I dumped it on Nov. 27, and I don’t know if a repro of a prototype slightly changed and released by a person linked to the original company could count as an actual prototype. It only recently occurred to me that the main menu upon power-up may have been taken straight from the released Action 52 cartridge (specifically Rev. B because of the text fading out between lives) because the “main menu” option crashes the ROM when selected. Is this a ROM that we can put on the site? SOS89 (talk) 20:28, 4 December 2023 (UTC)

Moving Final Fantasy Article

Hello GlitterBerri, I was wondering if you or one of the other admins could move the Final Fantasy article over into Final Fantasy (NES). A regular user can't do this because of the translation pages and obliviously there are other versions of that game so it would nice if done. Thanks in advance. --Mantis (talk) 01:28, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
