The first foray of Dance Dance Revolution into the home market. While it is mostly based on the original arcade release, it includes several new features, such as two new songs and the "Arrange Mode", in which the player is penalized for hitting anything that is not an arrow. Needless to say, the idea of that mode didn't age well.

Practice/Edit Mode

Slightly different banner segments can be found in the VRAM data of the Practice and Edit modes.

Graphics for the scrapped "boy" dancer seen in the original arcade release can still be found in this game, now found within the VRAM data of characters KONSENTO:01 and OSHARE-ZUKIN.
