This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 is the first of two Traveller's Tales (TT Fusion in this case) LEGO games covering the Harry Potter series of books.

Hmmm...
To do:
Document development strings in executable, unused text in English script, check the exact effects of debug options, document in-game debug options, and see if there's a way to dump all data files to find unused assets.

Debug Menu

On the North American version of the game, using the Action Replay code 22143478 00000001 will cause two debug options to show on the title screen, a debug menu and an option to view story sequences, as well as show debug information and unlock a different debug menu in-game. This code has not been tested on the European or Australian versions.

The "Story Sequences" option leads to a submenu allowing selection from each of the 4 years, but the further submenus consist only of options with no text and a back button. Selecting one of the options without text causes the background animation to freeze, but nothing else happens.

The debug menu is somewhat more interesting. "Locations" allows spawning into a list of each in-game location. "Bonus" allows jumping into one of three minigames. "Character Customization" simply brings up the character customization interface. Unfortunately, while there are several levels listed in the test level submenu, attempting to select any of them will only crash and generate a message that the cartridge has been removed. "Cheats" allows the toggling of settings for unlocking all characters, all levels, all extras, "all minikits" (though they're actually wizard's hats in this game), all spells, "loadsamoney" (which doesn't seem to do anything from a cursory glance), and all character abilities. "Debug Info" shows a toggle to display debug info, but it doesn't seem to affect anything in-game, whether turned on or off.
