Three prototypes of Pokémon Sword were leaked in October 2020, with the dates of the latter two builds lining up with a now-infamous security breach conducted by former Malwarebytes employee Zammis Clark in early 2018.

The filenames for the prototypes and their corresponding passwords are as follows:

  • develop_Develop_264_20180326134219_Sword.zip (JF9034jf)
  • develop_Develop_30_20171222164419.zip (ejfid934)
  • develop_Develop_562_20180525204848_Sword.zip (f9fdja9) (split into two parts)
