The sequel to Sonic Rush and Sonic's second DS outing, Sonic Rush Adventure introduced Blaze's home Sol Dimension, the obnoxiously annoying Australian raccoon Marine, and touchscreen seafaring.

Despite being considered superior to its predecessor in most respects, Rush Adventure didn't sell well. Resultingly, it was the last original Sonic game for a handheld, with subsequent handheld games being tie-ins for the console titles.
